Navigating the Spatial Tree

Once your model is uploaded and visible in the canvas, it's time to dive into the Structural Breakdown and Visual Controls using the Spatial Tree and Filtering Tools.

The spatial tree icon in the side bar can be used to view a detailed map of your entire IFC model. It breaks down the file into hierarchical levels—from the Project to Site, then Building, and finally each Storey or component (e.g., Foundation, Ground Floor, Roof).

What You Can Do

• Expand/Collapse: Click on any level (e.g., “00 Ground floor”) to see the components it contains, such as walls, slabs, beams, etc.
• Hide Elements: Click the eye icon next to any element to temporarily hide it from the view.
• Unhide Elements: Click the eye icon again to bring it back into view.
• Isolate Elements: Click the isolate icon to focus on a specific element everything else will be faded out for better focus.
• Click the Isolate icon again to unisolate.
